Schedule a Road Test

We are pleased to assist students taking their road test. This sponsorship fee includes a convenient weekend date, use of our vehicle and ROW as your sponsor for the test. Learn more about scheduling a road test.

Junior Operator's License Complete Course | $950

Your child can start their driver's education at 15 years and 9 months, for classroom instruction only. Behind the wheel instruction and observation hours both require a learner's permit. Teens are eligible for a permit at age 16.

To obtain a JOL teens must complete the following: 30 hours of classroom instruction, 12 hours of behind the wheel driving, and 6 hours of observation. Parents are also required to attend a 2-hour parent class. This course meets all Massachusetts state requirements for students under the age of 18. This course does not include the Certification Fee, Sponsorship Road Test Fee with Right of Way Driving School or any RMV fees for your permit/license.

JOL Classroom Instruction Only | $475

30 Hours of classroom instruction will fulfill the 1^st part of the Registry of Motor Vehicles JOL requirements. Register for this class only if you will be driving with another school. This pkg. is Class only and does not include driving or observation hours with Right of Way Driving School or any fees with the RMV for your permit.

Private Lesson (ROW students) | $150

These are one hour lessons available to ROW students who want to extend their training, past the RMV required 12 hours behind the wheel driver training. This is one on one behind the wheel time with a state certified instructor. After the lesson is finished, the instructor will discuss the effectiveness of the lesson and determine if more lessons are needed or desired.

This is also available to students who want to review skills necessary to pass the RMV road test. Students should plan on being dropped off and picked up at ROW to maximize their driving session.

Private Lesson (18+) One hour | $150

For anyone who is 18+ with a valid permit who would like to learn the skills needed to pass the Massachusetts RMV Road Test.

Transfer for Driving & Observation Hours | $775

This course is for students who have completed their 30 hours of classroom with another driving school. Behind the wheel instruction and observation hours is the 2^nd part of the Registry of Motor Vehicles JOL requirements. A Transfer is for Driving & Observation hours only and does not include the classroom portion. You must take the classroom portion before requesting a transfer for driving lessons. The Transfer Fee does not include the Certification Fee, Sponsorship Road Test Fee with Right of Way Driving School or any RMV fees for your license.
